5th EVALUATIVE LESSON PLAN

Aims:  1) to check students’ understanding and knowledge of adjectives, adverbs, comparisons
            2) to make sure that students’ understood unit 12 grammar material

 Introduction
(5min)

Greets the students, asks if someone else is coming to the lesson, checks attendance.

Then teacher gives out sheets of paper with test to every student.






Then she gives instructions. Teacher explains every task and says that they will write test the whole lesson. That means around 40mins. They have to rewrite all the sentences with the correct answer. There will be 8 tasks which they have to do.


Greet the teacher and answer her questions.


Students prepare separate sheets of paper where they will write the answers. Also, they have to write their names, surnames, class and date on it.

Students listen carefully to their teacher.

To create a welcoming atmosphere.


To create efficient working atmosphere.






To make students get used to writing (not only inserting appropriate words, but also rewriting the entire sentence).

To check whether they understand the task.


If something is not clear teacher explains again not only in English but also in Lithuanian.




If it is needed she reminds some rules or gives examples.

Teacher says that students can begin to write their test.

Students begin to write their test.

To check students’ understanding of unit 12 grammar material which they were learning quite a few lessons.

If something is not clear students can ask their teacher anytime.

Evaluation
  (2min)

Teacher collects students’ works and asks some questions about the test: which was the most difficult task? Which one was the easiest? Which sentence was complicated? Etc. She discusses most of the details with her students. After everything is clear she wishes them a good day and says that next lesson she will bring their tests.


Students discuss their test with the teacher.

To make sure there are no questions left about the test.

To create a pleasant and friendly atmosphere.
